2026 UC Berkeley Product Management Class

2026 UC Berkeley Product Management Class

Wrapped my UC Berkeley class this week. 12 teams interviewed over 100 potential customers. Each of the 35 students created a clickable prototype using an AI vibe coder (thank you to Bolt for their help here).

I pride myself on creating classes, workshops and coaching that are deeply hands-on... focused on learning by doing.

Student quotes about the benefits of the course:

-- "Better understanding interviewing methods, telling them to think aloud and gain insights from observations rather than leading questions"

-- "Realise how fast one can test ideas"

-- "An accelerated way to learn the discovery process and iterative prototyping."

-- "Learning how to make an AI prototype, getting out there and actually conducting user studies"

-- "Fast-paced assignments (lots of work, but seems to mirror real world), application of concepts through interviews/actually making the product/presenting it"

-- "I really loved learning how to use vibe coding and going through a quick iteration process. It helped me understand what product development in the real world would be like, just on a super speedy scale!"

Thank you to the UC Berkeley Coleman Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership for the opportunity to work with their fantastic Masters students.

Thank you to the students for the learning I received.

Thank you to my judges who took time to give the students feedback on their final presentations: Adam McGinty, Albert Collell, Madhura Tipnis, Joshua Herzig-Marx, Jonathan Beekman

Thank you to Felicia Rabang for keeping us organized.

Thank you to Martina Lauchengco for inspiring me to create a next level course with high expectations.

Looking forward to Spring semester!

For those of you who want to get their teams up and running with AI prototyping, please reach out. I have adjustments to my AI Prototyping Workshop that align with most every AI tool out there so I can tailor the workshop to your toolset.
