Make time for practice
People need to practice AI to learn it. But leaders over-index on execution. So folks have to do this on their own.
This week, in this environment of ever-present pressure, we created an open, approachable space to practice AI.
We gathered 20 folks to create VisionTypes or Apps with AI coding tools. In 60 minutes, attendees created "working software" from thoughts.
Each of these hackers was free to learn and grow. As leaders, we need to create more of these spaces during these times of intense change.
This is how new skills actually take hold. Not through edicts and pronouncements...through practice.
Thank you to my co-hosts Chuck Moore and Greg Baker. I appreciate co-conspirators more than ever and really appreciate your feedback and ideas. I'm so much better with others than on my own.
Thank you to DesignMap for sharing your beautiful downtown SF office
Thank you to Bolt and Donald Savard for the AI sponsorship
